Exams
Exam systems are listed alphabetically and treated as peers. Each calculator uses a verified source table or an explicitly user-entered rule. Every result is an estimate, not an official result.
A-level
UK A-level grade boundaries depend on awarding body, subject and exam series; UCAS tariff information is separately maintained by UCAS.
Open reference →AP
AP scores use a 1–5 scale; composite-to-score cutoffs are set by subject and exam year.
Open reference →GCSE
GCSE boundaries vary by awarding organisation, subject, qualification and exam series.
Open reference →IB Diploma Programme
Six subject grades and core points contribute to the diploma total, subject to award conditions.
Open reference →JAMB / UTME
UTME score is one component of institutional admission aggregates; institution formulas vary.
Open reference →NECO
NECO grade interpretation and admission requirements must be checked against official current publications.
Open reference →SAT / ACT
Official concordance tables provide a comparison of relative standing, not a performance prediction.
Open reference →WAEC
WASSCE grade interpretation and subject-credit requirements depend on the official examination and admission context.
Open reference →How to use exam estimates
Official score outcomes depend on the exam board, subject, qualification, series and assessment rules. AcademicTally does not replace an official statement of results. Where a numeric conversion cannot be verified in a primary source, the calculator uses an editable rule or leaves the conversion out. Check the linked authority before using a score for admission, credit or progression.
